Teaching Arabic is a passion for Fatima. She teaches Arabic using easy and efficient methods so that her students from different levels can feel more confident about learning the language. Fatima has worked as an assistant in an Arabic Language and North African Studies Program. She is currently working as an Arabic teaching assistant and a mentor for the School of Science and Engineering at her University.

Hi! I’m Laura; I’ve been an English and Spanish as a second language teacher for more than 15 years. I absolutely love what I do! I’m not afraid to admit that I’m a language nerd. I enjoy helping my students identify their communicative goals and giving them the tools and confidence they need to achieve those goals. I make my lessons a safe place to make mistakes and try the language as you feel. As the language nerd, I said I am; I have a Masters in Translation and Interpretation. Also, in the last couple of years, I’ve been a part of Above Grade’s recruitment team, choosing instructors that align with our company culture and vision. Hope to see you in class!

Mariah is an English teacher with more than ten years of experience. She loves teaching because she can share her knowledge with others and believes it is a great experience. When Maria’s students have difficulty with a topic, she always provides them with additional activities to overcome their weaknesses and continue learning.

Andres is a graduate from Universidad Técnica Particular de Loja (UTPL), Ecuador. He has a degree in Education – EFL/ESL Teaching. Additionally, Andres is getting a Master’s Degree in Translation and Interpretation at Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA), Argentina. He has worked with students of different ages and levels for over 8 years. Apart from teaching, another one of my passions is acting. Andres has had the chance to perform in several plays and theater festivals in Ecuador, Colombia, and Argentina. What he enjoys most about teaching is encouraging and helping his students to achieve their goals.

Juan Ramírez Santos, is an English teacher. He has been teaching for more than seven years. Juan likes his students to feel comfortable, and also encourages them to give their best. Besides, Juan wants them to have fun while they learn. One interesting fact about Juan is that he loves sports just as much as music and food. He is looking forward to meeting you!

French has been Coumba’s second mother tongue, and she has been speaking it since the age of three. Coumba has been teaching French and English to students from as young as 3 years old! Coumba enjoys teaching because she believes teaching is a humbling experience.

Je m’appelle Antonella Vintimilla. Le français est ma troisième langue. Je suis équatorienne mais j’habite maintenant à Paris. Actuellement j’étudie à l’Université Paris-Dauphine et je prends la majorité des mes cours en français. J’ai de l’expérience comme professeur d’anglais et français pour le niveau élémentaire.

Bonjour à tous ! Hanane is a native bilingual French and Arabic speaker. She holds a B.A. in Translation Studies from the University of Algiers. She was a middle school French teacher before moving to the United States. Hanane is currently working as a French Enrichment Instructor in Public Schools. Hanane uses her material and prepares customized lessons and assignments to make French fun and easy to learn online. Hanane also works with her students in real-time through a shared document they can keep and review anytime. One of her strengths is her ability to give her students the confidence boost they need to finally say: “Je parle français, et toi ?”

Rasika is a passionate language lover with experience in German Tutoring. What excites her about teaching is that it is a partnership where teachers and students learn and grow together. She thinks that it is an opportunity to impact others’ lives positively, and she loves to share her passion for German with language enthusiasts like her. She is currently furthering her education at the Goethe-Institut in Boston. Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Masters in Management Studies. Her Psychology background helps her keep her students engaged and motivated.

Hello, my name is Raquel Gonzalez but you can also call me Rachel. I’ve got a degree on Teaching English as a Foreign Language. I´ve been teaching English as a second language for about 12 years.

I have had a great number of rewarding experiences in teaching at all ages, such as, children, teenagers, and adults. Teaching is my vocation and I love doing it!. I enjoy myself and feel fulfilled when students get to like, learn and use the English language accurately and fluently. Similarly, I have taught Business English or ESP (English for specific purposes) and Spanish as well.

My goal is doing my best to make students feel comfortable enough in our classes to allow themselves to make mistakes, practice, and use the language successfully. I always like to focus not only on their individual learning language needs but also on their wants. Personally, I believe that learning a new language has to be enriching and enjoyable! Hey! My name is Daniela, but you can call me Dani; I’ve been an English teacher as a second language for over 10 years and a Spanish teacher for over 6 years already. I have a Bachelor’s degree on Education and Modern Languages and lots of experience working with all ages and levels from children to adults. I’m also experienced in Business English if you’re interested in that. I love teaching and making people talk in their target language. Mistakes are allowed and even encouraged in my class, that’s how we learn! Other things I love are singing, voice-acting, cross-stitching, movies and music. My name is Alaeddine SEBAA with Algerian origins. I joined IDEAL4Gifted, an educational organization, in December 2021 as a Math educator and Nudger at the same time. Before this, I was the middle school Math instructor and the high school Business Studies teacher at IAS – Istanbul American School for the previous academic year. I also had the opportunity to work as a Primary and Middle School Math Instructor at ISA – The international School of Africa in Djibouti. I have also worked in the “horn of Africa” for two consecutive academic years; at the same school. Additionally, I have served as a chess instructor for elementary scholars as an extracurricular activity. When I’m not keeping busy with work, you find me reading, cooking, playing chess with international players online, playing guitar, exercising, and traveling. That was a bit about myself, and I hope this year will be great

Diamond is a passionate educator and nonprofit professional ensuring education is engaging, equitable, and sustainable! Currently, she is pursuing her doctorate in Educational Leadership with a concentration in K-12. Diamond has 10 years of teaching experience and holds both a Bachelors in Early Childhood Education and Masters in Curriculum and Instruction. She enjoys working with children and adults!

Wafaa is an A.I. engineering student pursuing an academic career in data engineer. She has always been passionate about maths and science, leading to her major, and particularly enjoys teaching them. Wafaa likes reducing big concepts to tangible ideas and bubbling up for an overall concrete picture. She is very thorough and meticulous in her lessons!

Katie Bouldin is a T.N. native and recent G.A. transplant with 7+ years of teaching experience (and she has been tutoring even longer!). Katie tutors all Elementary-level subjects and specializes in helping students of all ages with English/Writing and Test Taking strategies across various subjects. Katie looks forward to helping you reach your academic goals.

Rebekah is passionate about education and is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience. She has taught all ages (K-adult) several subjects including writing, English, English as a second language, social studies, and reading. Rebekah also has a second master’s degree as a reading specialist, and she is obtaining her specialist (EdS) degree in Media, Design, and Educational Technology. In May of 2022, Rebekah will have also completed an endorsement as a school librarian. 

Jocelyn is a graduate of Kennesaw State University with a bachelor’s and Master’s in General Education K-5, Special Education, K-12 with endorsements in reading and English as a second language. Currently, she is in the process of obtaining her Ph. D at Georgia State University in Students’ with Exceptionalities. Jocelyn has over 11 years in Education and enjoys working with children and adults. She is passionate about what she does and will pair you with the most amazing instructor for you or your child.
